Light and comfortable headset "Jabra Talk45"-Keitai Watch

After a long time, I got a new wireless headset for calls. The mono is a one-ear type model called "Talk 45" made by Jabra.

Due to years of heavy use, the headset I've been using has become full of wounds, such as disconnecting calls without permission and suddenly my voice becomes distant, so I decided to buy a new one.

I started looking for a product that was smaller than the previous model, but I feel that the lineup of single-ear headsets does not have as much volume as before. Demand may have declined due to the spread of completely wireless stereo earphones.

Personally, I want to use a headset for calls, so I chose the Talk 45, which I thought was just right in terms of budget and size.

The contents of the package are the main unit, a microUSB cable for charging, two replacement ear tips (different sizes x 2) and two ear hooks (transparent plastic). In addition to this, it comes with a charger that plugs into the cigarette lighter socket of the car. Since it is "12V-24V", it seems that it can be used in large vehicles such as buses and trucks.

Below is a Plantronics "Voyager Legend" that I have used for several years. The power switch is visible to the left of the charging microUSB port. On the side is a mute button (also used as a voice assistant)

When you receive a call, you can answer by pressing the call button (around the "Jabra" logo), and you can reject the call by pressing it twice. You can call the Google Assistant by pressing the mute button outside of a call.

The fit is extremely good, and the call quality is clear. I want to put it on quickly when I receive an incoming call, so I remove the ear hook and use it, but even if I shake my head while wearing it, it will not come off. It's good that it doesn't hurt your ears even if you wear it for a long time. I almost forgot to take it off.

Here it is with ear hooks. It arrived in this state when it was packed.

The maximum continuous talk time according to the manual is 6 hours. If you press the call button while the power is on, you can check the remaining battery level by voice announcement, as well as the companion app "Jabra Assist" for smartphones.

You can also check the location of I like that it's lightweight and compact enough to fit in my shirt's breast pocket, but if I get my hands on it, it's easy to lose, so this kind of function is essential. I have a feeling that someday I will be taken care of.

One thing that bothers me is that although the headset has a mute button, you can't adjust the volume. Also, it seems that background sounds are easy to pick up, and I was often asked, "What is the sound now?" Even so, even when I made a call in a crowd of people and cars, I was never heard back, so it seems that my voice was being heard.

I wish I could adjust the volume on the headset side, but I really like the comfort of wearing and the compactness that I can easily put in my pocket. I also want to keep going with him until I reach the end of my life.
